The altar guild prepares our space for worship every Sunday and for all worship services throughout the year. Teams work together to set-up, clean-up and arrange the flowers. Volunteers are always needed! To learn more email Mary Snead or Fran Duffy.
Lay Eucharistic Ministers
LEM’s bring communion to home-bound parishioners who are unable to attend worship services. If you are interested in this ministry please contact the rector.
Every Sunday readers, prayer leaders, ushers and chalicists participate in creating our liturgy. Throughout the year all parishioners are invited to join in this vital ministry and leaders are scheduled in advance and online. If you are interested in this ministry, please sign up here or call the church office. If you currently serve, click here to see or update the schedule.
Our choir leads our music every Sunday at 10 am during the program year (Sept-June) and for certain special services such as Christmas Eve. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 PM. Teens 8th grade and older are welcome to join the adult choir. To learn more, please email our Choir Director, Kevin King.
CHILDREN & YOUTH MINISTRIES
Acolytes lead the congregation in worship, carry the cross and torches in procession, and help the priests at the altar. Acolytes get to learn why we do what we do and experience worship in a whole new way. Click here to sign up to be an acolyte! For more information, email the Rev. Matt Welsch.
Chapel is a 30-minute liturgy of the word that happens during our 10am worship service for children to experience the love of God through storytelling, music, games, dancing, and crafts. Worship leaders and acolytes lead the children to their worship space after the opening our liturgy and accompany them back to join their families during the Peace.
The children begin chapel by preparing the altar with the altar linen, a cross and candles. As the altar represents God’s presence in our worship and the Holy Table of Communion, the vesting of our chapel altar by the children has become an integral part of our worship together. We have fun together singing songs, playing games, and learning about the love of God through Christ. Join us on Sunday mornings to experience God’s love in a caring and compassionate community! Parents are welcome and encouraged to join their children for chapel. If you have questions please contact the Rev. Matt Welsch
Our Hospitality Committee helps coordinate our fellowship gatherings, Sunday Coffee hours and our Cottage Suppers, which are small dinner gatherings for parishioners to get to know one another. Contact Hospitality Committee Chairs Paige Horine and Cheryl Seal to learn more.
