The Rev. Arianne Rice, Rector

Arianne has been leading and serving with the people of Good Shepherd since 2011.  She has a passion for preaching, teaching and engaging with people around questions of purpose and faith.  Arianne is a Certified Daring Way Facilitator™ in the work of Brené Brown on courage and vulnerability and leads workshops throughout the area. Prior to moving to Baltimore she served as the Associate Rector at St. Philip’s in Durham, NC and received her Masters of Divinity at General Seminary in New York.  Before becoming ordained Arianne worked in advertising and marketing in online media. 

The Rev. Mark Lobb, Assistant Rector

Mark graduated from University of the South School of Theology in May 2022 and was ordained to the priesthood the following June. Prior to his call to ordained ministry, he served as a special education and a regular education teacher in both independent and public-school settings in Baltimore. Mark has two daughters and four grandchildren who live in Virginia. He and his wife, Sharon, have been married for three and a half years.

Kim Chalmers, Finance Manager

Kim has been with Good Shepherd since 2010. Her position has grown from responsibilities for budget and finance to include stewardship, annual giving, and overseeing the Good Shepherd campus and building. She has also worked as Finance Manager for our Day School so she knows everything about our community! A native Australian her husband is the tennis pro at the Elkridge Club, where Kim has also worked prior to joining our church.

Ruth Martin, Facility Manager

Ruth supports the weekday operations of Good Shepherd through her role as our Weekday Custodian. Ruth was born in Jamaica and moved to the USA in 1999 with her family. She is married to Dean Martin, with whom she has two children, Kaideen (son) and Kedisha (daughter), as well as four grandchildren. Ruth is happy to join the Good Shepherd family.

Kait Lengyel, Parish Administrator

Kait moved to Baltimore in 2017 to work in the Episcopal Service Corps. Her worksite at the Cathedral of the Incarnation hired her on and then promoted her to the Director of Ministry Support. She grew up in Rhode Island and studied Digital Music and Anthropology at Roger Williams University. Kaitlyn loves to sing, crochet, and bake. She has grown up in the Episcopal Church and worked for the Episcopal Conference Center of RI as a camp counselor for five years. Kait has a passion for sharing the mission and ministries of church communities through the use and support of technology, communications and design.

Ann Marie Sears, Nursery Caregiver

Ann staffs our nursery during our 10 am service. Ann Marie has been a teacher at the Good Shepherd School for the last four years and she’s excited to be joining us on Sunday mornings!
